CRAWFORD COUNTY – The Crawford County Economic Development Corporation has announced that Jasper Engines & Transmissions will contribute $75,000 in support of local economic and housing development. The donation will be distributed in three installments: $25,000 now, another $25,000 later in the year, and a final $25,000 in January 2026.
“We are very grateful to Jasper for their generous financial contribution, leadership and long-term investment in our community,” said Executive Director Jesse Belcher in a press release. “Their support of our subdivision project will help move forward our shared vision for a more vibrant, economically resilient Crawford County.”
Jasper Engines has had a presence in Crawford County for more than 27 years, operating its Carefree facility, currently employing 436 associate owners. The company’s commitment to shared ownership and sustainability is matched by its economic footprint, with an annual payroll exceeding $27 million at the Crawford site alone. The company makes an impact every year through grants, with their Crawford County associate owners selecting nonprofits and schools to receive financial support annually.
