Southern Indiana Business Report

ST. ANTHONY – Fischer Farms Natural Foods announced the hiring of Heather Tallman as its new marketing director.

Tallman is a well-known food advocate, communicator and media personality with a passion for agriculture. Most recently, she served as the director of Indiana Grown, the state’s local agriculture marketing initiative housed within the Indiana State Department of Agriculture.

With over a decade of experience working in the agriculture marketing industry, Tallman brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the brand. Her focus on locally sourced products aligns with the values of Fischer Farms, and her communication experience within food systems across the state will add a valuable layer to the company’s marketing efforts.

As the new marketing director, Tallman will be responsible for promoting Fischer Farms products, expanding their customer base, and highlighting the farm’s commitment to sustainable agriculture. She will play a vital role in promoting and educating consumers on Fischer Farms’ climate smart practices and the upcoming Ultimate Beef Project. Her extensive network and experience in the food industry will serve as an asset as the brand continues to grow and evolve.

“We are thrilled to welcome Heather to the Fischer Farms team,” said Dave Fischer, owner of Fischer Farms Natural Foods. “Her dedication and expertise in Indiana’s food and agriculture sector will put us in a unique position to make connections and promote our mission of providing high-quality, sustainable products throughout the state and beyond.”

Tallman said, “For years I have been lucky enough to share stories about agriculture in Indiana, and I look forward to bringing the Fischer Farms message to a wider audience.”
