ManTech renews support at WestGate Academy

Southern Indiana Business Report

ODON —ManTech has renewed its support for the economic development mission of Purdue@WestGate, one of the firm’s neighbors at WestGate@Crane Technology Park. The 2022 commitment marks the defense contractor’s second year of support for the academy’s 14,000-square-foot conference center.

“ManTech is extremely proud to continue our support for the Crane ecosystem, and we understand that the WestGate Academy plays a very important role in the community,” said Jim Hanley, vice president and division manager for ManTech’s naval aviation division. “This continued sponsorship represents ManTech’s investment in and commitment to that community – and to bringing new technology and advancing strategic objectives within the Tech Park and NSWC Crane.”

In addition to its continued sponsorship, ManTech is currently adding a 72,000-square-foot building within the technology park. A ribbon cutting will be held in the near future.

“ManTech has been a huge addition, not just to the tech park, but to the state,” said Jason Salstrom, director of Purdue@WestGate. “The good paying jobs are of course welcome, but I would also emphasize the culture of ambition, innovation, and collaboration that ManTech added to the region. We look forward to growing our collaboration, developing access to talent and research capabilities, thereby supporting ManTech’s growth as a keystone of the WestGate ecosystem. We appreciate ManTech’s investment and support for the second year in a row.”

ManTech was founded in 1968 to provide advanced technological services to the U.S. government. The ManTech mission is to empower the nation through a diverse and skilled workforce securely delivering innovative technology, consulting services and digital solutions for customers’ mission success, every day.
