CRAWFORD COUNTY – The Crawford County Economic Development Corporation has added a new staff member to focus on workforce development.
Chris Isaacs is the new workforce and project coordinator. In this role, Isaacs will lead workforce development initiatives and oversee key project coordination efforts. He will also play a role in supporting social media and marketing strategies.
Isaacs brings with him a strong background in workforce development, manufacturing and education. He holds a Master of Interdisciplinary Studies degree from Indiana University, with a focus on organizational leadership and communications. His professional experience includes 15 years in the manufacturing sector and, most recently, a role at Ivy Tech Community College in Sellersburg, working on workforce development programs and providing skills training in our region.
Chris grew up in the Crawford County area and currently resides near Marengo. In addition to his professional endeavors, he is a local entrepreneur and owner of Isaacs Acres, a business that provides fresh fruits and vegetables to the community.
Jesse Belcher, executive director of the CCEDC, expressed excitement about the new addition.
