ODON – The former Odon Business Alliance has reorganized and is stepping forward with a new name and mission focusing on northern Daviess County.
The North Daviess Community Growth Alliance will focus on revitalizing, uniting and energizing the communities of northern Daviess County by driving economic development, supporting local businesses, driving regional collaboration, and encouraging new ventures.
A press release from the nonprofit said it aims “to connect people, spark community pride, increase foot traffic, and create meaningful opportunities through engaging events, dynamic partnerships, and hands-on projects. We strive to support entrepreneurs, attract new opportunities, and celebrate the unique strengths of our towns. Our goal is to inspire active participation from businesses and residents alike as we build a vibrant, thriving region together.”
The Alliance hosted a community event – the Odon Easter egg hunt – earlier this spring and has other events planned to engage the North Daviess communities. A Harvest Festival is planned for this fall, described as a bold reimagining of the traditional Pumpkin Fest. Organizers are planning to have vendors, live entertainment and hands-on activities. The Spirit of Christmas parade is also getting a makeover.
The Alliance is guided by the following board of directors:
Robert Saladin, President
Jennifer Morris, Vice President
Audra O’Neill, Treasurer
Dan Henning, Secretary
Lauren Bullock
Regina Lindy
Heather Montgomery
Ginger Porter
Melinda Raber
Amber Warden
The board’s vision for the new group goes beyond a rebrand and a new name.
“It’s about reaching more people, offering more value, and becoming a resource for every town and business in northern Daviess County. We want to see our existing businesses grow and thrive while encouraging others to start new ventures. We want the entire community to feel the momentum,” read the release.
A new membership package will roll out in January 2026. To stay connected, follow the group on social media. The former Odon Business Alliance Facebook page has been updated with the new name.
