JASPER – Dubois Strong will hold its 2024 annual meeting April 25 in the Thyen-Clark Cultural Center Atrium in Jasper.

The event is held yearly as a thank you to investors and community partners and highlights the organization’s successes and future plans.

In the past year, Dubois Strong has focused its efforts on childcare, workforce attraction and retention, housing, and small business start-up and support.

“With the recently released Dubois County Housing Study, 2024 will bring a renewed focus on building an affordable, safe, and sustainable housing market for all residents of the county,” said Ed Cole, president of Dubois Strong. “Another focus initiative this year for our organization is the continuation of the Dubois County Relocation Impact Grant to attract workforce to our county. Dubois Strong will also be partnering with other local organizations and businesses to bring more entrepreneurial support in the form of the ‘Foundations of Business Series’ presented by the Dubois County Entrepreneurs & Innovators group.”

The event will be held from 5 to 6:30 pm in an open house format. Heavy appetizers and drinks will be served.
