West Baden Springs Hotel earns Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice honors for 5th consecutive year

The travelers have spoken, and for the for the fifth consecutive year, they’ve deemed West Baden Springs Hotel as one of the best in the world.

A 1902-built National Historic Landmark, West Baden Springs Hotel was just named a 2026 Travelers’ Choice Award winner by Tripadvisor, placing it among the top 10% of properties worldwide. This is the sixth year overall for West Baden Springs Hotel receiving one of Tripadvisor’s highest guest-voted honors. It earned a “Best of the Best” distinction in 2021 and has landed on the Travelers’ Choice list every year since 2022.

The Travelers’ Choice Award is based on the reviews and opinions of millions of travelers from around the world. Unlike traditional industry awards that require an entrance fee, editorial bias or surveys, these awards are the result of real-life traveler insights collected over a 12-month period on Tripadvisor in 2025.

West Baden Springs Hotel shared in another top honor with Historic Hotels of America bestowing “Best Historic Resort” distinction on French Lick Resort. Travelers choosing West Baden for summertime trips and beyond will have plenty to look forward to, starting with Fourth of July weekend activities for the upcoming America 250 festivities. Other events and attractions through the end of 2026 at West Baden Springs Hotel include Jazz Under the Dome Weekend (Aug. 7-9), a 30^th Anniversary Ice Cream Social (Aug. 30), Vintage Base Ball exhibitions (Sept. 12 and 13), the annual tree lighting ceremony (Nov. 14) and a New Year’s Eve celebration to cap the year.
