ENGLISH – The Crawford County Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with the Crawford County Chamber of Commerce, will offer a three-part Leadership Development Seminar Series aimed at increasing leadership and communication skills for current and future leaders in the community.
The seminar series is made possible through funding from the Community Foundation of Crawford County. This initiative was developed in response to feedback gathered during previous community input sessions by a collaborative working group including Christine Harbeson of the Community Foundation of Crawford County, Kaylee Gildersleeve of Crawford County Tourism, Chris Isaacs and CCEDC.
Seminar schedule
- March 28, 8 a.m. – Understanding Conflict Styles and Their Use
Led by Chris Isaacs, this session will provide insight into the different conflict styles and how to manage them effectively in the workplace. Topics include defining conflict, identifying conflict styles, and strategies for improving workplace relationships. - April 18, 8 a.m. – Servant Leadership
This seminar will explore the philosophy of servant leadership, emphasizing how leaders can prioritize serving others to foster a positive and productive work environment. - May 9, 8 a.m. – Negotiating vs. Bargaining: Understanding the Differences
Participants will learn the key differences between negotiation and bargaining, and how to approach both for better outcomes in business and community settings.
