Southern Indiana Business Report
Three Daviess County businesses and one Lawrence County company have been named to the Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s Best Places to Work in Indiana list.
In the small category, JA Benefits in Bedford made the list.
In the medium category for companies with 75-249 US employees, Belt Tech Industrial Inc. and TrueScripts, both based in Washington, made the cut.
True Rx Health Strategists in Washington qualified for Best Places in the large category for companies with 250-999 employees.
The list was released Monday and includes companies from all across the state. According to a press release from the Indiana Chamber, 150 companies made the list, the largest ever.
In 2024, JA Benefits was named the No. 1 company in the small category for the fifth year in a row.
Also in 2024, TrueScripts, a prescription benefit management company, celebrated a “three-peat” as the No. 1 business in its category for medium companies.
“We all recognize that currently there is intense competition for talent. This program is a great way for organizations to take the temperature of their culture and how it’s resonating with today’s workers,” said Indiana Chamber President and CEO Vanessa Green Sinders, in a press release.
“Companies on the right cultural track also are much more likely to be effective across the board and have increased productivity and overall success,” she said. “We salute each of this year’s winners for their commitment to displaying best practices in their workplaces, which are enabling them to attract and retain employees.”
The honorees will be ranked in categories determined by company size at a dinner April 30. The top companies in the state were determined through employer reports and comprehensive employee surveys. The Workforce Research Group handled the selection process.
