JASPER – Established businesses looking for advice and entrepreneurs with an idea for a start-up can take advantage of the Indiana Small Business Development Center (ISBDC) network that is serving businesses in the Dubois County area.
Going into business is a challenging and risky venture, the ISBDC can help people determine if business ownership is the right career choice.
The ISBDC offers confidential counseling to start-ups and existing businesses at no charge to clients. In addition, the ISBDC offers several low-cost workshops to educate business owners or those who are considering opening a business.
Currently, Indiana Rural Small Business Navigator Grant Sherfick travels to the Jasper Chamber of Commerce by appointment to meet with business owners.
ISBDC services include: business plan development, sales forecasting, market research, industry research, business structuring, business valuation, business connections, marketing assistance – all for no charge.
