Crawford County seeks public input for updating quality of place plan

Southern Indiana Business Report

ENGLISH The Crawford County Economic Development Corporation is seeking input for a community survey as it prepares to update Crawford County’s Quality of Place and Workforce Attraction Plan.

Working alongside the Crawford County Chamber of Commerce and the Community Foundation of Crawford County, the CCEDC is revising the Quality of Place/Workforce Development Plan to more accurately reflect the current wants and needs of Crawford County. Originally developed in 2019, the plan provides a road map to guide economic development and growth efforts on behalf of the county.

“It is crucial to have input from our local residents as we revise this community development plan,” said Jesse Belcher, executive director of the Crawford County Economic Development Corporation. “We must work together with the community members who live, work and play here every day to create a prosperous Crawford County.”

To make your voice heard as a Crawford County resident, employee, business owner or nonprofit executive, fill out the following survey form by Aug. 15.

The survey is also available through the CCEDC and Community Foundation of Crawford County Facebook pages, and on ComeToCrawford.com.
