FRENCH LICK – They’re big, they’re loud and beginning June 15, they will be lurking in the woods of French Lick.
The Dinosaur Safari opens Saturday as the newest attraction at Wilstem Wildlife Park.
The Dinosaur Safari will feature 20 different exhibits from several different prehistoric eras. All exhibits are life-like in size, roar, and they move.
The self-guided safari tour will transport visitors through landscapes populated by lifelike dinosaurs from the Jurassic era.
Touted as both fun and educational, featured dinosaurs include the Dimetrodon, Coelophysis, Stegosaurus, Brachiosaurus and a Tyrannosaurus rex, according to a press release. The safari includes a narrated timeline of when dinosaurs once roamed the Earth.

Drive-thru tickets now include the Wildlife Safari plus the new Dinosaur Safari. Wagon tours will not go through dinosaurs, but guests are welcome to go through in a personal vehicle to see the dinosaurs.
The Dinosaur Safari will be available daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. from now until
November, and will re-open next spring.
Wilstem Wildlife Park also offers animal encounters, cabin and lodge rentals.
