Dubois County Entrepreneurs & Innovators to kick off 2024 series April 3

Southern Indiana Business Report

JASPER – The Dubois County Entrepreneurs & Innovators group will kick off their 2024 Foundations of Business series with an event April 3.

The four events will cover hiring, marketing, funding and space for small businesses. The first event will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 3 at The Broken Tee, 1280 Vine St., in Jasper.

The series will bring together speakers with knowledge of and resources to work through the challenges faced by new business owners as well as business owners looking to expand.

“When we got together for our first planning meeting for the 2024 events, we really looked at what entrepreneurs need to know and the biggest challenges they might face as they look at opening new businesses or expanding current businesses. Hiring, marketing, spaces, and funding were the biggest standout categories,” said Samantha Knies Gray, marketing specialist at Dubois Strong. “Most entrepreneurs will face challenges with each of these throughout their journey — whether they’re just starting out or moving through the growing pains of owning a business.”

Gray said each event of the series will focus on these four aspects of running a business and the local resources available to help entrepreneurs navigate each facet, making it easier to start and grow their businesses.
