VSL Holdings breaks ground on retail, food development in Washington

WASHINGTON – VSL Holdings along with leaders from the city of Washington and Daviess County broke ground on a new retail, food and service center this week.

The future Summit Plaza is located on E National Hwy / US 50 in Washington.

Development of the five-acre site will be undertaken in three phases. The first phase will include site preparation for the entire development and construction of a 4,200 square foot building with a drive-thru on one side.

The second phase will construct a second 4,200 square foot building with a drive-thru.

A 6,000 square foot mixed use building with option of a drive-thru will be constructed in the third phase. 

Celebrating the beginning of the project were representatives from the Daviess County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau, Daviess County Economic Development Corporation, city of Washington, First Financial Bank, Landmark Surveying Co. Inc. and other community leaders.
