Martin County Ranking

Lightcast has released the seventh annual version of its Talent Attraction Scorecard, an index
that measures and ranks counties across the U.S. based on education, overall job change, migration,
skilled job change, competitive effect (jobs created above or below what is expected), and skilled job
openings. And this year, Martin County Indiana ranked No. 15 in the nation among counties with a
population between 5,000 and99,999.

Lightcast is a data analysis consulting firm that employs experts in the fields of job skills,
workforce talent, and labor market dynamics to provide advice and consultation in the fields of higher
education, economic development, and workforce development.

Other Indiana counties that ranked well in the small county category include Boone (#21),
Tipton (#40), Pulaski (#166) and Whitley (#211). Over 2,000 counties fall into the small county category.
