INDIANAPOLIS — Justyna Rohrig of GM Bedford Casting Operations was among the statewide honorees recognized during the Indiana Manufacturers Association Hall of Fame Luncheon Oct. 14 at the Biltwell Event Center in Indianapolis. Rohrig, who serves as manufacturing operations manager for the engine head department, was named Emerging Leader in the Manufacturing Excellence Awards. She has been with GM for nearly nine years and has spent most of that time at Bedford.
“I am very grateful,” Rohrig told Southern Indiana Business Report. “It was a huge honor to be nominated by my leadership and an extraordinary recognition to be selected by the Indiana Manufacturers Association. I think it is important for leaders in the industry to recognize the talent and potential in order to develop the future leaders, which is why I am really passionate about recruiting and mentoring employees who are just beginning their careers.”
