ODON — The Crane Regional Defense Group’s Key Leader Series will return on Wednesday, Nov. 10. Keynote speaker for the free luncheon event will be Col. Santee Vasquez, who’s been the commanding officer of Crane Army Ammunition Activity since July.
The event will run from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. at WestGate Academy. Registration can be completed here.
Crane Regional Defense Group was formed in 2020 with the goal of connecting local communities and businesses with Crane as part of a grassroots vehicle for advocacy. Individual objectives of the self-described “chamber of commerce for Crane” include educating the region about Crane and opportunities there, supporting jobs, building consensus, and supporting defense.
The group kicked off its Key Leader Series back on Aug. 12 with a visit from Dr. Angie Lewis, technical director at NSWC Crane, and that inaugural event drew a crowd of approximately 60 people.
