Southern Indiana Business Report

WASHINGTON – Kingdom Air and Haag Heating and Air Conditioning, two leading companies in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services both located in Daviess County announced a merger Tuesday that will combine the strengths of both organizations to foster significant growth and innovation.

This strategic merger aims to enhance their service offerings, expand market reach, and deliver increased value to customers and stakeholders.

Jeff Quyle, president and CEO of Radius Indiana, highlighted the importance of such strategic alliances in today’s competitive market.

“Mergers like this are pivotal for strengthening market positions and enhancing the capabilities to serve customers more effectively,” said Quyle. “This helps our rural region retain local ownership and control of an important corporate entity who can customize service to meet local needs.”

The merged entity will operate under the name “Kingdom Air” and will be headquartered in Daviess County, with offices in Washington and Cannelburg. The existing leadership teams of both companies will form the new executive team, ensuring seamless integration and continuation of operational excellence.

Together, the companies have a combined 81 years of serving customers.

Robert L. Graber, CEO of Kingdom Air, said he was looking to expand and reached out to Haag Heating and Air Conditioning owner Greg Haag about a possible merger. Graber said the two companies fit well and “share the same values, work ethic and commitment to excellence.”

Key benefits of the merger include:

  • Enhanced Product and Service Offerings: By combining resources, Kingdom Air will leverage both companies’ strengths to enhance product and service Quality.
  • Expanded Geographic Reach: The merger enables an expanded presence in key markets, facilitating easier access to a broader customer base.
  • Increased Investment in Innovation: With combined resources, the new entity will accelerate its investment in its home-based services field.
  • Retention of existing workforce: Existing employees from the two companies will be retained, with no loss of jobs, and increases in employee compensation and opportunities, while maintaining the experience and knowledge of the current workforce. The new entity will seek to grow its team with expertise and economies of scale.

“We are thrilled about the possibilities that this merger brings to our teams, customers, and the industry. Together, we will set a new standard for excellence and innovation,” said Graber.
